Hello, Brian H Kelemen and Associates is one of the worst companies to work for and some of the dirtiest stores to eat at in the michgan area and quite possibly the country!
Heres a few examples on what employees have to deal with there:
-LOW pay in wich they ask way to much of there people to perform there work for
-NO benifits to anyone unless you are a District Manager or higher (really cmon if you arnt gonna pay people then at least give them something in return for them busting there asses to make you dumb fucks rich)!
-NO reguard for the laws. There is currently an employee working for the Riverview, MI location who has worked there for years. He is handicapped. He is THE HARDEST WORKING EMPLOYEE that store has ever had and probably will have. He only works 3 hours a week (thats his choice and availability). Heres the kicker that shows what this hellhole company is all about: When the michigan minimum wage went up in july of 2008 to 7.40 they refused to give him a raise. Eventually the Workers Aid for this employee asked about why the employee was only making 7.15 and hour. The General Manager asked the District Manager about it and the DM replied that she purposly did it since he only cleaned the dining room three hours a week. I dont care if he only worked 5 min a week the law is the law and the fact this awesome person is handicapped makes it even worse that a company would do that to someone.
Theres many more things that an employee has to deal with there that they should never have to and as i have extra time i will be adding that stuff in here to let people know, i will also be adding in maps/and or the locations of every wendys the franchisee owns so you will hopefully never eat there and boycott those resturaunts.
Also keep in mind, i am not bashing the Wendys brand! I am only relaying the one franchise in the upper us region that is not only damaging one of the best QSR chains, but also treating people like they are operating in third world countries.
Now for the cleanliness of the stores:
-Fact, The Riverview, MI location is infested with mice, so many in fact that employees have named them since seeing them in the drystock areas is such an occurance.
-Fact, The Brownstown, MI location is infested with mice, there infestation is so bad they had a certification inspection and a mouse ran accross the inspectors foot and THEY STILL PASSED there inspection only becuase the customers still got there food fast enough in the drive thru.
-the company has a strict budget for each store on cleaning supplies, im not saying this is a bad thing, you do have to be proffitable. But your budgets should be based on your sales not just a fixed dollar amount no matter what. Cuz then the busier your store is it is that much harder to keep clean. FACT once a company runs out of cleaning supplies and they refuse to let the store managers buy more it will GET DIRTY.
